|
|
Our school has learned that some local and or provincial government are now giving financial incentives to attract foreign teachers working within public school systems in different citys, thus far our school has just learned this and I now ask the question does any foreign teacher have any knowledge regarding this and if so please leave information regarding this . For example Tax incentives breaks, or special allowences. Please ask your foreign affairs department as it may already have been offered and kept within the department?
Please pass on any information regarding this. |

how did you come about this info at your school? did you just stumble across it or can YOU get more info out of them.. I am assuming that if the school you're in is in a province that does not offer such incentives, they will be a bit touchy about giving you more details....
I asked my FAO about this and he looked like I was speaking jeebrish to him.. he had no clue. |

Could you get in touch with your main Education Bureau in the city and ask them to give you information on the incentives for foreign teachers. Frankly, I think the Education Bureaux need to offer incentives. Just put up the salaries - the State has set them too low. |
