Hi all,
I'm 23 and I've recently completed my CELTA course and have a BA (Hons) degree.
I'm looking to work in Vietnam and have about 1200 to spare (about 2 months living expenses?)
So, the plan is:
Get a 3 month tourist visa before I come. Also, get a police clearance certificate from Disclosure Scotland. Fly to Hanoi at the start of December.
Once there I will look for a job.
Questions:
For a work visa do you just need a police clearance along with degree certificate and CELTA certificate?
Is this a realistic plan?
I have already had an interview offer from Language Link, but they are presuming I'm already in Hanoi.
Is the way forward to arrange some interviews via email a week before I go?
For police clearance is a Disclosure Scotland form sufficient? Or does it need to be CRB?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions,
Joe |

You probably won't get any responses, as all of your questions have answers via the search function. But in short, with a BA, CELTA, 1200 quid and a ticket to Hanoi, you'll be fine, and get the police clearance authenticated by your country's national-level service, not just a local notary. |
