I just saw it on another forum where they are talking about the Bangkok Text and Talk school no longer providing tefl classes after the class that's running now. Its Pattaya school was also mentioned as possibly no longer offering the tefl course. |

Yes. This is true.
The current regulations from the Thai MoE requiring 'qualified' teachers with degrees etc will probably bring an end to the TEFL industry as it is in its current form.
In the future it will no longer be acceptable to just have a TEFL piece of paper in order to teach. (Not that it ever was)
T & T are looking to other opportunities now (apparently)
Expect more TEFL companies to follow the same route eventually. |

At one time T & T was a good school. The owner was a real snake though.
What will happen to all the teachers working in Thailand holding thier TEFL cert ? What is the MOE requesting now? |
