Has anyone got any experience or knowledge of this outfit? Are they reliable? What are working conditions like? Thanks. |

I worked there for 8 months.
Pros:
You will get paid on time
It is a newer building if you're teaching the Aramco guys
You will get a proper visa and proper iqama
You will do 0 planning.
You will probably be able to get a multiple entry visa/housing money
Cons:
You will most likely fall prey to deceptive writing in the contract.
Your provided housing sucks
You will be worked to death and every possible hour
You will often be called in on Thursdays for meetings or whatever
Your students will be very hit or miss
The company itself is reliable and will pay you. I'd need to know more about the particular contract to comment further.

Have you already forgotten about those lesson plan books that MUST be filled out? lol

He is right. The lesson plan books are essentially you copying down what they already gave you on another sheet so it looks like you're doing something when you're not allowed to actually do anything. If this doesn't make sense to you, it won't in the future either. If you're looking for logic, don't go to Saudi.
Sorry to hear about you not getting paid on time anymore. I definitely had contract problems and that was the root cause of my leaving. Overall the job wasn't too bad, but it became overwhelming when I had 0 vacation after 8 months and was not promised what I was to be given. |
