Are you referring to a small, private language training center about 90 minutes from downtown Shanghai? Is this the one? RMB 6,000 per month, etc., etc., rural setting? |

| Sounds about right. Pay is RMB 8,000 and ad says 45 mins from downtown Shanghai (located in Nanqiao) but sounds like you're thinking of the right place. |

Grungy part of Shanghai. Far one of the more upwardly mobile parts of the city. Supposedly there is a university town somewhere out there. You should be able to reach the school by subway and by bus.
Just don't expect anything resembling Shanghai glitter out there. Be forewarned. There is a new glittering luxury hotel for sure. Somewhere out there.
Please ask for the names of at least two foreign teachers who worked there before. If you are a lawyer as your moniker indicates, why are you considering this place? You could aim much, much higher, even at this time of the year. |
