I'm in the application process (even though they're on a hiring freeze right now) with TBI Jakarta which is responsible for the Kuningan, Sudirman and Fatmawati locations.

Are these locations known for having a good work environment? Do they honor contract details, provide enough teaching resources, pay salaries on time, etc.? Looking for good or bad reviews so I can make an informed decision. Thank you!

While I haven't worked for the Jakarta TBI's I worked for TBI Medan.

I was always paid on time, found the resources to be good and plentiful and haven't heard or known anyone not to have their contracted honoured. We also had reviews from head office TBI Jakarta at least once a year, where they came and observed all teachers.

I also found the CPD very useful which was carried out by qualified teacher trainers from Jakarta TBI's. This was the only school in Indonesia that I ever got any sort of continued training or observations for that matter. I found these very useful to help me develop professionally.
