Hi. I'm pretty far from Shenyang, so would appreciate anything you can tell me about the Web International up there. I've taught in Dongbei, but haven't even been to Shenyang. I think I can be pretty content if the school pays on time etc.
Not a great deal of choice at the moment, but don't want to cut my throat, move to a bad school. thank you |

| I have heard things in the past unfavourable about them. Do your homework, I can't remember the particulars. But please, trend carefully. Google might be your friend. |

| I seem to remember some bad publicity about 18 months or even 2 years ago about some serious financial problems. I'm pretty sure there were a couple of threads on here about it. |

There are international schools, Pattison, and a few others. I have never heard any of my students or teachers elsewhere mention a Web International in Shenyang.
I had an interview with them in Shanghai, and I don't think I will ever consider that place. However, if you like doing 40 hours with only 25 hours of teaching, low pay, and the salon crap style classes they push then sign up and come to Shenyang. You can see some videos of how their "glass factory" classrooms are run at http://sy.webi.com.cn
A lot of people don't like it here, but I don't find the city that bad. I just wouldn't work for Web International. If you still aren't convinced, look at this:
