Anyone ever stayed here or visited ? I couldn't find too much info or pictures of this part of beijing except for a couple popular tourist attractions.
If anyone has any experience staying here please let me know what you thought. How the cost of living in that part of beijing, hows the nightlife, etc etc.
Thanks! |

Cost of living is less but it is a good 45 min to one hour outside B-town. No nightlife to speak of but make sure it is in the town as many of the schools are actually away from CP. |

The place is near Huilongguan Subway Station. Does anyone know that area?
What's the cost of living like there. With a free apartment is it possible to survive on 5,000RMB a month ? I'm guessing I would need to do some tutoring on the side in order to have enough money to go out and enjoy the weekends. |

Huilongguan is ok. I haved lived there for the past year. If they provide an apartment you will still probably be tight on 5k. Of course it depends on your lifestyle. There are plenty of private opportunities around here if you want them though. Overall I have been happy in this area, except for the transportation...the #13 subway is almost always jammed especially during rush hour which can add up to 30 minutes to a commute...sigh. Any other details you need just PM me. |
