|
|
Hey all,
Quick question to anyone working for XXXXX currently.... I signed up to renew my contract about 5 months ago and my contract extension is due to start from next month for another year. However, due to recent managerial changes and office politics I'm regretting my decision and kind of want to quit and work elsewhere.
I vaguely remember them telling me about being able to give 2 or 3 months notice and only lose 20% of my contract completion bonus instead of losing the full 100% if i quit early, but I can't find it written on paper anywhere, so it must have been verbal or on the contract I signed and gave back. I'd like to still get some of the completion bonus if possible because it should be around 120,000 yen iirc.
Cheers!

If I remember correctly, once you have completed the first year of your contract, provided you give them 3 months notice you will keep half of your accrued completion bonus.
It's stipulated on the "things to consider" sheets they give you when your renewal period comes up, not the bit you hand back. Those sheets have a fair bit of assorted info on so you may be able to ask them for a copy without raising suspicions. |
