I am interested in professional development.
I completed a fairly generic 120 hour TESOL course. Would it be wise to enroll in a CELTA course?
Or...is that TESOL alone enough to do a DELTA?
thank you very much! |

| If your generic TESL included supervised teaching practice with actual students, it's probably enough to qualify you for a DELTA - assuming that you also have some teaching experience post-cert. If your cert was online or mostly online, or you were 'teaching' peer trainees, then a CELTA or equivalent is probably necessary. |

| And you'll probably need a couple years of teaching experience under your belt. |
