Hey everyone,
I'm currently teaching in Korea but when my year contract is up I'm considering heading to Shanghai for a more short term gig. Given the fact that by then I'll have a year of experience and that I interned in Shanghai for a few months in 2009 what do you think of my overall chances? I do have some contacts in the city but they have nothing to do with the education industry.
I'm sure this is a pretty standard question but I didn't find too much I could relate to from searching. So, I'd really appreciate any advice! |

All the details really are there in the search function.
China - including Shanghai require 2 years of teaching experience.
Many jobs permit short term contracts, though most are leaning toward a full year minimum |

At least for me, when the search actually works (and doesn't take me to a blank page) it rarely turns up relevant info.
Of course China has that "requirement"...but before I came to Korea I had a couple offers with no experience required. They were very shady of course but my question is would I have any luck being in SH in person and a year under my belt?
Thanks |
