I'm hoping to go out to Madrid to look for a job in January.
I've seen ads asking for TEFL but not sure what to go for. Could do 100 hour and have best TEFL poss but if a weekend course is all that is needed...
I should add that I'm not wanting to make a career out of it so not considering CELTA. |

A weekend course would be better than nothing but, seriously, no weekend course is ever going to prepare you properly for teaching, especially if you have no other teaching experience.
Would you want to be taught Spanish (and PAY for it!) by someone who had only had that training? |

A weekend course is really not worth the expense. What can you really learn in a single weekend that you can't from a book. Employers know this. A 100 hour course with teaching practice is worth the money and should pay for itself with in 1 or 2 years. |
