I'd say the best bet is to read the thread just below this one!

Craig's list may offer some ads put up by English speakers or that are at least possibly provided by landlords with some experience with foreign tenants. They tend to be more expensive though.
Your best bet would be to have a local friend help to handle not just the Spanish but the particulars of renting in DF...to ask about the things you might not have thought of, such as furnishings, utilities, a guarantor, etc. |

I'm not coming down to Mexico in the next month, as I am finishing up my last few college classes...but thanks for the advice senor.
My plan will probably consist of starting out staying at a hostel once I get down there until I get everything in order. |
