Obviously I realize the market for teaching kids is typically larger than that of teaching adults. However, do the salaries vary greatly when first starting?

Can anyone shed some light on what it's like to teach only adults vs. kids in Japan?
How prolific is the adult market in Tokyo and Osaka nowadays?

I'm new and considering a contract that's adult only. I'm coming from Korea where I teach both kids and adults.

Thanks

There aren't all that many adults-only eikaiwa. I used to work for one and got paid the "standard" 250,000 (back in 1998-2002).

Look at the FAQ stickies and see the links for business English agencies, then see how much they advertise on their homepages. Keep in mind that those are agencies that often farm out teachers to businesses or hold in-house lessons of their own. If you work directly for such a business (like for Honda), the pay may or may not be different. I don't know.
