Believe it or not... it has been 10 years since the first Wikipedia was put online....AND there is a group in Mexico City of people who contribute like I do. It nascent but it exists.
We are holding an event in the Centro Historico Saturday the 15 of January... first half is academic and the rest is party (this is Mexico after all) If anyone is interested there is more information here
