I was told I would be contacted early this week. It is now Tuesday and they haven't contacted me. I really need to know because it will affect what I do this and next week with my schedule. Is rude to send them a mail to ask? Also I am not totally sure who I am contacting as I was contacted out of the blue from an agency. I have some email addresses, so I could contact them I guess!

So, let me get this straight:

You are not sure what you are doing this week or next, so you wonder if you should contact someone who has not contacted you, although you don't know who they are?

Maybe you're auditioning for a part in Alice in Wonderland, the remake?

Have you ever worked in Saudi? Do you know anything about how one gets a good job there... a job that is not completely abusive?

Based on your post, I'd say that you should be praying that you never hear from these people again. And never consider any kind of offer that just comes out of the blue.

If you wish to teach in Saudi, do some research on the country and employers, and then apply to the ones that aren't borderline or actual scams.

I think 'early in the week' can mean up to and including Wednesday in Western Time.

In ME time - 'early in the week' could be more like 'early in the month' (of March, if you're lucky). Shocked

The concepts of time and time pressure are well-known to be widely different between the cultures.

I think "buzzing" sums it up pretty well Smile
