Does a single school in HK hire more than one NET? Or is there generally only one NET per school (as it is here in Seoul)?
Are NETs expected to eat lunch with the other staff members? |

Usually one per school, though 2 or 3 in a few. No, not like EPIK - you can take lunch as you wish. My wife (a NET) usually eats with a few teachers she gets on with, or sometimes goes out. |

Thanks for your response! Couldn't handle another year of social torture in the teacher's lunchroom. |

Only one NET on the EDB Enhanced NET Scheme in each school. Some schools employ additional 'NETS' using their own funding.
Some schools allow NETS to leave the school premises at lunchtime, other NETs are not allowed to leave any time during the day. Some NETs have their own English room where they can eat their lunch in quiet isolation. |
