Besides the normal stuff (pay, hours, location), what do you always ask about before deciding to accept a teaching job?

For example, I would like to know: Are there other foreigners at your school? Is the housing you provide on campus or off campus?

Step 1. Scan through the last ten pages of this forum. The answer to almost every question, including this one, is there.

Ask to speak to at least two foreign teachers at the center. They'll obviously have you speak with the FAO and head foreign teacher, but you should also ask to speak to someone who is less tied to the school's management. In my experience, a Chinese supervisor will sit closely enough to hear what the foreign teachers are saying, so give them a little wiggle room.
