Hi---I'm currently teaching in Indonesia. I keep hearing people say that a work visa is not needed (obviously, you can't get one if you go there without a job and it seems you need to go to Vietnam and then find a job)
So where does one get this 3 month tourist visa? Can I get one here in Indo beforehand, or can you get it on arrival to the country?
Also, how long are the typical work contracts in Vietnam? Can you sign a 3 or 6 month contract? Are there perks such as paying for airfare, rent, or vacation time??
thanks for any and all feedback here. |

| You can obtain a multiple entry visa through a travel agency (60 day) on arrival (kind of) you have to get a letter by email. try hotels-in-vietnam. they can arrange for you. Work permits are done by the employer. You must have the right documents. http://www.hkbav.org/pdf/Kevin_Presentation_R.pdf |
