Any specific recommendations on buying article (namely laptop) insurance that is valid worldwide?

Travel insurance should be fine as long as it covers personal electronics |

Thanks for the suggestion.
I have been researching travel insurance for the last three months, making calls, sending emails to contacts at companies, etc. I have not been able to find ANY companies that fit our needs. (i.e. we are NOT short term travelers, and we do NOT have renters or homeowners in the states as we will be living in peru)
If anyone has any specific advice as to this, it would be greatly appreciated. |

I've heard these are good
Afiaws
Cheap Travel Insurance
Club Direct
DU Insurance
Expatriate Guide
Global Surance
Insure And Go
Insure Your Gap
Inter Global PMI
International SOS
Lonely Planet
Travel Insurance Guide
Travel Insurers
Wallach
World Nomad
By the way, if you're goign to be living in Peru, then I assume you'll have a work or spousal visa and then can get Peruvian insurance in Peru and shouldn't bother with international insurance, correct? |
