Any comments on ECC Thailand? I've been in Korea for year and want to get out. ECC will interview me if I go there for an interview. I'm a 33 year-old Canadian male with a B.A. in English and CELTA. I want to teach learners 16 and over only. Any and all help is appreciated. |

BTW, I can also secure an interview with New Cambridge (for a high school teaching job) while I'm in BKK. Any thoughts? |

When are you coming? Getting interviews is easy once you're here. Of course certain times of the year are better in terms of the job market. The school year starts in May, so around that time is the prime time to look for jobs. I don't know New Cambridge, but beware of agencies. What salary are they offering? 12 month contract? |

I was thinking of going in late Jan. or early Feb. Any thoughts on ECC? New Cambridge is a placement agency, think the pay's in the low thirties. |

At that time of the year, jobs won't be very plentiful. So starting with ECC might not be a bad idea. Come March, April and May, keep your eyes open for a better position.
I only know that ECC is language center. I'm sure they pay on time. You might check out Wall Street. They pay better. |
