I keep reading that it's possible to come to Thailand with just a degree (BA Hons in my case) and land a teaching job, is this really the case?? By the time I come to LoS i'll have 6 months x 2 days a week volunteer teaching under my belt too which may help.
I know it's a common question but would love some advice as to whether its possible for me to go with a degree, as at the moment I'm considering the American Teaching Institute Special Thai Project TESOL, which i have a bit of a bad feeling about. |

Yes. Very few teachers I've known in Thailand have TEFL certs. Some language schools and private schools require a TEFL cert. Gov't schools don't. MOD EDIT |

So how do these teachers go about getting jobs? MOD EDIT I've read a lot about how people with TEFL's go about it but I'm a bit unsure about how to actually find a job with just my degree and experience.
