No one has heard of them? Elite Language Institute based out of Chiayi wih 7 schools. 3 in Chiayi...with branches in Taichung, Taipei and Kaoshiung. Just wondering if anyone out there has worked for them. Pay & benefits seem to be pretty good. Just looking for what their reputation is. Thanks! |

For what I have experienced last week, they prefer young handsome and tall males or young blue eyed blond pretty girls. I didn't seem to fit the criteria, so my application was tossed into the infamous jobless bucket. Maybe north? |

I managed to find four hours a week at a Giraffe branch teaching little kindies and elementary kids. The students behave well at this school. I will just try and keep getting along with the co-teachers. One co-teacher wants to do a language exchange? Good idea? Any experience with this? Sounds good to me anyway. I could use the company. She is taller than me; by about 4 inches. I feel kind of small standing next to her, but she is built well and has an excellent personality; and she is about 25 years younger than me. |

Having good relationships with Taiwanese co-workers is important. The language exchange she is offering will not only improve your language abilities, but can be beneficial in a number of other ways too.
Also, being 25 years younger will provide you with some eye-candy. However, do exercise common sense should any amorous opportunities present themselves. |
