Hello everyone! I have a 4-year degree from the US, a TEFL certificate, a year of teaching experience in Mexico, and a couple years' experience tutoring high school students in math and reading in the US. I don't know how the requirements are or how tight the market is for teachers in SE Asia, so I was just wondering which countries might be the best to look at for teaching at a university or teaching adults.
I've looked at the China forums and seen that it is very possible to get a low-hours, low-paying uni job (which sounds ok to me), but I'm really curious what else is out there. I'd be looking at something that would pay decently without overtime and somewhere where the locals (especially the young ladies ) are friendly, and where it would be pretty easy to get out of town for a hike. Thanks in advance! |

Until you actually get a masters (or better) you won't be finding your goal.
With just a BA and minimal experience you don't qualify for the high paying university jobs (with or without the ladies) or even the better paying jobs (require an .ed degree and 2+ years in the classroom).
IF you don't mind split shifts you maybe should register on the Korean jobs forum and look at the Korean jobs board. Korea has its problems but it is still the best paying (at the entry level) gig around.
