Hey I've noticed that there are MANY websites and programs devoted to teaching abroad. Do you guys know what websites are MOST reliable or well-respected? I would like to go through a company/website that is considered legitimate.
Thanks |

How high is up?
What color is black?
I guess reading back a post or 2 is too difficult to see the answer to a similar question?
Well, I guess there is always the "company" answer:
There is ONLY ONE legitimate website for looking for a position abroad as a teacher and that is Dave's ESL Cafe.
Really, it is a huge planet.
Where on Earth would you like to go?
What qualifications do you have (if anything beyond a high school diploma)?
I assume from the nature of your post that you are from the states ...
(so we don't need to try to figure out where you can LEGALLY work (virtually everywhere outside of the EU - Europe is a no go for most Americans (unless you have a PhD)) from the nature of your post.

Usually the schools themselves will help you out with everything regarding getting set up. If they dont, they're probably crap, and not worth working for. |

Where's the best place for those (pref. EU / Euroland)? I'm so out of this kind of stuff. |

The vast majority of jobs in the Euro region are not found from abroad. You basically have to be here in person before most reputable employers will give you a second (or even a first) thought. |

eslcafe.com and tefl.com is good for TEFL jobs in general. As far as job placement, mot TEFL courses offer that. Don't know how legit it is. |

rsandre,
Are you looking at the uni sector? If so, PM me when you've posted a few more. (And avoid the middle-man if you can.)
Cheers,
