From what I know of the Khabarovsk English teaching scene--if you could call it that--there are very few, if any, language schools of any real size. Therefore, the effort and expense it would take to hire a native speaker from abroad is not probably in the cards for most places.
I know a couple who own an English center there--I've been there numerous times, and they say they're the first or second biggest English language center in the city. They have roughly four classrooms.
As it stands, if you really want to go to Khabarovsk to teach, I would suspect the universities would be your best bet.
Someone here might correct me.
Good luck. |

When I first started looking into the Far East to teach I wanted to go to Khabarovsk too. However, the lack of jobs available on the internet, and impossibility to get a visa before arriving stifled my efforts.
I wanted to work there because all of my friends from Russia came from there. They all tried to help me, and I even got a business card for one of the centres that operates there.
When I was in Russia I went to Khabarovsk to see some friends and to check out the ELT scene. There's pretty much nothing, and the two schools that I did get in contact with knew zilch about hiring a foreigner.
I might also add that after actually going there I changed my mind about wanting to work there. It's not as magnificent as some people from Khabarovsk might have you believe - IMHO. There is money there though |
