I posted this in General Asia about China & Thailand, but didn't really get answers, so let's try it on the specific country boards.
I'm halfway through my second year in China, and I'm looking to move to a new city, or preferably, Thailand. I'm just not entirely sure when I should be getting seriously concerned about/into the application process for next school year.
Now, I'm contracted until June, so I can't start in May. But I know a lot of places also do start in August, sol that's mainly what I'm asking about here.
Is there one particular period of time I should be focusing on applying for that time? |

August? Strange month. Not sure where you heard that from.......unless you are referring to some true blue international schools.
Thai managed, bilingual schools generally start in May.............and sometimes look for teachers after the October holidays............start of semester 2. |

| Eh, I guess most of them were international ones, but they seem to pretty uniformly start around August. |

You need to start applying now then, although the top notch internationals have mostly filled their quota for the new academic year already.
Are you a 'home country' certified teacher..........or an EFL/ESL teacher? |
