What EFL recruiters in the USA have good reputations? I know that many of them are terrible, but I am seeking professional organizations.
Why US-based? Well, I am an American and recruiters in my country are often evaluated by the Better Business Bureau, so there are at least some standards.
Thank you for your responses. |

I suspect there is some general misconception that recruiters exist for all parts of the world; many newbies are unaware that some regions rarely hire teachers sight-unseen.
So, yes, it matters where you want to go. |

It really is too hard to answer this question because anyone who speaks English can post any address, use Skype and a gmail account and claim to be working in any city in the USA. You would never know who and where they really are. There is a huge TEFL operation run out of the UK but they registered in the U.S. and Thailand (I suppose for some tax purposes). When one of their people called me she said she was calling from Phoenix but when I asked for a phoenix address so I could stop by and talk with her directly, she put me on hold and never came back! |
