I am interested in teaching science SAT/AP courses in SH or BJ or a big city....
What is the going rate for private schools?
How big is the private market in these cities? From what I read, in Dalian, relatively easy to get extra work... SH? |

Pay depends upon a LOT of factors. You'll find what various private schools pay by visiting abroadchina.org. It shows pay scales for all kinds of schools in all parts of China. |

The key to the high paying sector is to be a registered teacher in your home country.
This leads to the international schools which cater to expat and wealthy Chinese.
In the ordinary run of tertiary school the subject classes are taught in Chinese by Chinese. |
