Hi naturegirl,
I followed the IH Certificate in Advanced Methodology online course and I found it to be very demanding and time consuming. This is also mentioned in the registration document before you start and it's not a joke.
We covered 25 units on different subjects over a period of six months. Each unit was only one week long and consisted of a lengthy pre-reading task, four online discussion questions for which I spent about 2 - 3 hours daily, and a final extended written assignment which included a number of further reading recommendations.
The participation in the forum was great and I learned a lot from the course. The drawback was however that I constantly felt under the gun and exhausted.
I can recommend the courses but be prepared to dedicate a lot of your time. |

Ok, thanks. I was looking at the CAm course, but it looked tough. I was thinking more of doing Business English, Online teaching or 1-2-1. |
