Hi all,
I am new to the forum and have been reading some of the discussions.

But just so I am clear...I have been teaching for 12 years in Chicago, have 2 master degrees in eduation, an endorsement in ESL, and have aslo been an ESL teacher for the last 4 years.

With these qualifications I will not need a TESOL certificate to teach abroad. Is that a correct statement?

you have 12 years teaching experience, but teaching what? If you've been teaching ESL, you should be fine I believe. But as usual, the more quals you have the better.

You don't NEED a tefl cert to teach abroad, most countries require a BA in order to get a visa.

Have you looked at intl schools?
