|
|
I have funds in a UK Bank account (Barclays, if that helps), and I want to get them to Japan in the cheapest and most efficient way. I am presently in China, and I arrive in Japan in a couple of weeks.
Can anyone suggest the best way I can get my funds into a Japanese bank account?
Is doing a bank transfer using online banking, for example, easy enough?
Which Japanese bank would be best for me as as a foreigner?
Many thanks. |

I am considering using these guys:
fxcompared.com
I found this mentioned by someone, and I wonder if anyone can confirm it?:
"citizens bank [Tokyo] doesn't charge overseas ATM fees" |

I'm looking at doing the same. I've heard golloyds.com is relatively cheap to send money from Japan, but haven't seen anything about sending money TO Japan. I'll let you know what I find out. |
