| Does anyone living and teaching in Mexico have the CELE and if so, has it helped your salary to go up? |

I can�t speak for myself or for English language teaching, but I have a couple of friends who took the CELE course and then went on to teach Spanish to foreigners. One of them had been teaching for several years, the other only had a teaching certificate from International House.
In terms of pay, they claim there were no big changes. However, they both agree that the course was well worth it in terms of what you learn there, and that they feel much better prepared to teach after taking that course.
