Hi !

In the v.near future, I'll be in KL. Could those of you who are familar with that city please recommend a good money changer, ie one who normally offers a fair exchange rate for the Chinese RMB. Apart from Malaysian Ringit, I'll probably also be buying some Thai Baht and AUD.

I'll probably be staying in the Purdur (sp?) Bus Station/Chinatown area, but will go anywhere in order to exchange RMB at a fair rate.

Many thanks,

Peter

Pudu Bus Station.

There are plenty of exchange places between Pudu Bus Station and Chinatown. I've never bought Baht or AUD, but enough places sell Ringitts to allow you to shop around.

Hotel China Town Inn on Jalan Petaling/Petaling Street is good value. I don't rate any of the food places in that area at all. For decent food, head to Jalan Alor around the corner from Bukit Bintang.
