US citizen, gained BSBA degree with great GPA. Graduated from law school, JD. Worked for a few years doing energy law. Now looking to change things up.
Vietnam seems like a great choice. I looked at ILA but they want TEFL certification and can't guarantee me a job if I fly out there and take their course.
Are there better options for me? There are very limited ESL certification options where I am currently, and I hear most don't require it anyway. So now what?
I'll go elsewhere in Asia too. Studied abroad in Japan, but don't have a year and a half to wait for JET. Looking to get going on this soon. I guess I'm a bit at a loss here and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you! |

If you-re interested in VN, try the VN forum. There are other schools there, but I think you might have to go there. From what I understand from other posters, you should be able to get enough hours in a week or two after arriving.
KOrea and China are popular options as well. |
