|
|
HELLO ALL! I am doing a TEFL certification course on-site in St. Petersburg,Russia from OCTOBER 3rd- OCTOBER 28th with BRIDGE TEFL.
The biggest concern for me is that i will not be able to find a job after becoming certified because i do not have a college degree. The program I am doing in order to become certified says that they will help me with job assistance and it would take me at least 3-4 weeks to find a job, but my question is....
What are the odds of me finding a job after becoming certified on-site in saint petersburg without a college degree? very slim?
if i do not find a job on time,i plan to finish school, get my bachelors, and then come back to Russia. |

but i'm not sure how much difference it would make. just say you have a degree. nobody will ever check your certificate. |

Whoa... On what is this assumption based? I'm working in SPb right now and I had to provide a copy of my diploma (not apostilled) when I started here. Actually, I had to provide a copy of my diploma for schools I worked at in Moscow and Siberia as well.
Yes, there are some (maybe many) schools that won't ask. Categorically claiming that no schools will ask, however, is misleading. |

this assumption is based on my and the experience of others. i've never even provided my CELTA certificate (although, people have asked to see to, they forget they asked and then its forgotten about)!! |
