|
|
Greetings,
I am in the process of negotiating English lessons for staff at a local resort hotel, and I am wondering how to do the right thing in the eyes of the tax department. I am not working for an English school/dispatch company. This is a part-time job I have created for myself and am trying to figure out what my tax obligations are for approximately 18 hours of work per month.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

The search function might turn up some info about tax obligations. Meanwhile, check out http://gaijintax.com/ |

If you are thinking about using this job to prove income (maybe renewing a visa via self-sponsorship), you should definitely declare your income. This job sounds like it is more than the one-a-week-at-a-cafe type private lesson. |
