My fiance and I are planning on teaching in Taiwan this spring (providing we find good jobs). We have a Boston terrier that is coming with us from Canada. We've been been very excited to make the move for a long time but because importing animals to Taiwan is quite tedious we've had to wait until he is ready. We've gotten all his shots, blood tests etc., and are getting all the necessary paperwork in order over the next two weeks. Once we arrive he will be in quarantine for 21 days. The quarantine facilities in Taipei look very clean and the dogs seem to be well taken care of. We were wondering if anyone has brought their dog to Taiwan? If so how was your experience? |

No, but I've taken a dog out of Taiwan. I think your dog will be taken care of. Apart from the paperwork, everything was straightforward flying my dog out. A good thing about Taiwan is that it's rabies free, which means when you leave it will be easier than it would otherwise be. |
