I have been waiting on Nova since November to tell me that I would be put up to full time (yes I do have a degree) as they told me come on a "working holiday visa, you will get there faster, and you can change to full time in three months". Liars. Turns out teacher type changes don't come until they darn well feel like it at Nova. So they told me to wait till my Working Holiday Visa expries, then do a visa type change...now they said renew the WHV and they will change later, and still are dodging me about full time. Do I have to pay for both changes? (I know I have to pay for the renewal). Does anyone know about this? At this point, almost finished my year contract, I'm ready to say screw it, no full time, even though I can't find something else. >???
Whadda ya think?

Did you get this promise verbally or in writing? If in writing, exactly what does it say?
If it is as clear as you make it here, then you have a few options.
1. Stay with them and hold your breath.
2. Stay with them and complain constantly, trying to urge them to give you FT status.
3. Leave. The working holiday visa is yours. |
