Greetings,

My question is: Is it possible or not to legally obtain work/a work visa with a TESOL certificate in order to teach English in Mongolia: specifically UB. I do not have a Uni degree, however, I have ESL teaching experience.

I am thinking that it would most likely be no problem to volunteer in the countryside or anywhere in the country for that matter.

I'm assuming ( though not sure ) that to teach in a smaller city/town where the demand for an ESL teacher is such that the government would grant a work visa given the need and the circumstances. Like China, for example.

If anyone can answer my question it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

Question still stands.

Legit replies would be useful to myself and others who may seek the same information.

Yes,
It's quite possible, the working conditions will be horrible, and you'll find that you don't quite enjoy UB as much as you would the other provinces, but still.
