no interview date set for me either! they're still waiting for all my references to send in that online form. i'm surprised no one else responded to this thread though... i thought the westgate program was quite popular.

Westgate will wait until they know how many contracts they have and whether any schools will have cancelled with them. Then they will let you know.

I've recently finished a contract with them. PM me if you have any questions.

I went through all three stages of Westgate's application process and was then told they did not need me. OK, never nice to hear this, but it was a little annoying to get so far along in a process and be declined.

I did ask some questions about their contract and this may not have gone down well (so I understand from other threads here), but I just wanted to get confirmation.

They did email me and say they would keep my details on file and contact me should they need me.

I did find it strange though that they are now advertising the exact same positions again. They must be after exceptional individuals, because by all accounts I am the best teacher in the world Smile ha ha

Wow. I guess you just never know. I once had a (Latina) student say she had to go home because she "left something on the stove." I was disappointed because I thought she was a really good student and I couldn't understand why I was losing her. Then she came back to class and said thank goodness, she hadn't left anything on the stove. So I suppose you never know. I felt kind of bad asking all my contacts to be available for extra work since they'd all written me wonderful letters of recommendation. It seems like by the phone call, you'd have it in the bag, so I know how you feel. They must have their methods because their operation seems to be running strong. Good luck to you and all the best teachers in the world. Wink
