Forget GDL at night being dangerous. This attack was at 2pm on Mexico's principal highway, between Queretaro and SLP. If the NAFTA highway isnt safe midday then what is?

Yup, what a bummer. We have a drug war going on in this country. Time and place is secondary to those with a score to settle.

Its a drugs war. Its going to affect everywhere... if you're involved in drugs.

It's also secondary if you get killed in the cross-fire. Funny thing with wars, the bullets and battles often kill a lotta innocent folks.

Yeah, another bummer. I wish we could make it all stop, but it's apparently not in our control. In the meantime, I have a life to live.

"Yeah, another bummer. I wish we could make it all stop, but it's apparently not in our control."

So do we only comment on things in our control? A fellow poster implied that the drug war only affects those involved in drugs. What a bummer that that statement is so obviously incorrect.

"In the meantime, I have a life to live."

Yet you felt compelled to comment on it anyway....

Ooops... I somehow missed that one. Probably got sidetracked by a rare job discussion thread, or something. FYI, I buy my veggies from the guy who drives past my front gate. Haven't found a guy to deliver good red wine yet though, or a tienda that sells it. Walmart has it's limited advantages. Wink
