| I plan to work in Taiwan, and have some questions about the required medical exam for a work visa. Does anyone have a pretty comprehensive list (or know of where I can get one) of what the medical exam evaluates, and what medical problems might cause an applicant to be rejected for a work visa (and I presume sent back home)? |

They check for tuberculosis, AIDs and any other sexually transmitted diseases.
The usual check for English teachers is: eyesight, blood pressure, height & weight. The results on these don't seem to matter.
Then they take a blood test and give a chest X-ray. The results of these do matter. |
