|
|
Hello,
I currently teach English in the States, have a CELTA and 3+ years experience. My school is a non-profit and does not have summer classes. I was wondering if there was anywhere in the Middle East where one could obtain a short-term ESL position. I am thinking between May - July considering Ramadan starts on August 1st.
Any help would be appreciated.

None that will provide benefits or legal documentation. The latter being very important. I should have said this is for UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and probably Saudi. Most shut up shop for the summer and sometimes it seems at least 1/2 the population leaves for cooler climes.

The British Council usually have short-term contracts over the summer for interesting places - Syria, Jordan, Tunisia etc, though I wonder if there'll be running as many courses this year due to the unrest in parts of the region. I imagine they'll start advertising fairly soon. I'm looking for openings with them, too. |
