There have been loads of enquiries about TEFL prospects. There's a job ad about for the College of Languages in Lodz. Do the search on TEFL.com. Housing provided, bills paid, cost of tram pass paid and 3,400 Zl net. That's a good entry level position. You won't get better and Lodz is famous for having the longest pub lined street in Central Poland.

Sounds like a good offer for Lodz.

I worked there five or six years ago when I lived in Lodz. The flat is quite alright, not super close to the center, but not too far, it's also a few tram stops from the school or about a 20 min walk.

It was all kids from about 8-18 years of age a few FCE and CAE classes. As far as cash, It's quite good for Lodz, I always had plenty to do what I wanted and travel around Poland. The owner of the school pretty much lets you get on with your teaching but is supportive if you need anything.

The only caveat I have is about the Saturday classes. If you're young, single and have a lot of spare cash in Lodz--it might be hard to get up on Saturday morning.
