Hey everyone,
I live in Taiwan, where I'm a graduate student in Chinese linguistics (historical phonology and dialectology). This summer, I want to go to mainland China -- from mid/late June to early/mid September. Does anyone know how to find a summer job? I have plenty of teaching experience. It would be best if I could find something using my Chinese, which is what I'm really into, but those kinds of positions are generally long term, correct?
Anyways, I'm sure this has been posted before. I am going to do some looking around. I'll reply to this thread with whatever I find.
Thanks for your time and information. |

Hi ya,
Don't know if you eventually came up with anything but I've been offered a summer camp job with the International English Summer Camp (IESC) at Yangzhou also known as the Beijing New Oriental Foreign Language School at Yangzhou. I'm still in very early process but found it relatively easy to find the job but now the issue is validity and reliability of the company, what they will actually offer me when I arrive and differing info on visas. I'm thinking of giving up as I can't seem to find any info or help on this that is concrete.
Let me know how you have got on |
