Hey all-
My wife and I are looking to work in a summer camp in Japan beginning May-June. We each have over two years experience, myself with a BA and her with a college diploma. Could any of the old pro's shed some light on how it works in Japan? Any recommendations? In general, paid airfare?
Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks- |

You're looking in the wrong country
South Korea has a hundreds and hundreds and hundreds (maybe even thousands) of well-paid summer camp and winter camp teaching opportunities. They are also the country that pays airfare for teachers to come from afar as well.
Japan....ah, not so much at all. The demand for English is really low compared to South Korea. I've only seen a few short-term camp opportunities in Japan, compared to seemingly unlimited demand in Korea - where the demand is so high they fly people from Toronto or wherever else. |
