Ok,

this might be a bit off-topic, but does anyone know where there is a master list of good summer Russian programs? I am thinking about this one, as it close to Pavlodar, Kazakhstan.

The program doesn't look too bad, but you could probably do it cheaper elsewhere (especially in Kazakhstan...have you looked into this?).

As a point of comparison, I took classes at SPb State Pedagogical University-Herzen this past summer for 2200 rubles per week (advanced level, 20 hours per week). As I already live here, room/board and visa expenses were not a consideration for me. This is why I'd check into Russian classes in Kazakhstan first, to see if you can save some money this way. If money's not the primary objective, and you want to spend some time in Russia, well, that's another story

Thanks for the reply. I have not found any uni websites from KZ listing summer courses, but I will check with the bigger Unis there later this week. Omsk has the best program for the money that I have found so far.

There is a decent resonably priced programme in Bishkek, Kyrgystan at The London School that I have been looking into for the same purpose.
