Hello!
I currently work at a hagwan in Anyang, Korea, and want to get a new teaching job when my contract is up in August.
Has anyone changed jobs successfully in Korea? It seems like a big hassle. Once you get a job, you have to get another background check, and another visa... etc.
A couple questions.
1. how do you get fingerprints done in Korea? Does any police station offer this service?
2. Do I have to leave the country to process/renew my visa? How exactly does that work? Do I send the visa to the embassy, then go pick it up? Do I have to go in person?
3. Do I need anything else after I've gotten the visa?
4. Is it easier to change schools, or change countries? I'm considering working in Japan if possible.
Thank you very much for all your help! |
