I'm going. Between job hunting and spending time with my friend in LA, I expect to be very busy, but I'd make time to meet posters from the cafe. Let's see who else is headed there.
Schminken, are you presenting as well as attending?

Nope, not presenting, just going around with my resume in hand, begging for work, schmoozing with people who might know someone who can give me work, and snatching up whatever freebies I can lay my hands on.
Coffee sounds good. (I'm having some now, in fact.) Ya'll let me know when and where, and I'll be there.
Now I'm off to load up on some kitschy local goods to bestow upon my friends in return for them letting me occupy their sofa for a week. |

Actually, Belmont said something about going to the convention way back when, but I don't know if he still plans to go. Then again, he's already in Southern California according to his user profile, so he's relatively close. Maybe he's been keeping quiet about it to avoid winding up with a few hundred cafe patrons trying to wrangle a spot on his sofa.
